It's the start of a new week! As much as many people do not like Mondays, being the day when you have to go back to work and the day that signals the end of the weekend, it is the day that may set the tone for how your week will be.

This is why everyone should love Mondays. It gives you a chance to start again. If the previous week was terrible for you in one way or the other, this is the time for you to change that. Relax over the weekend. Go out. Have fun. Prepare for the coming week. Monday should be your day to get up with a positive attitude an focus on your tasks for the week.

It is important to note that one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day. Smile. Think of something (or someone) that makes you happy. Let out a little smile. You will find yourself feeling better.

We hope this will help you stay positive all through the week. It may get really hard but your positive attitude will go a long way in getting you through those tough times that are bound to come. So from Guardian Life,

Remember, sweetie...

Appeal Court Sacks Rivers PDP Senator

Appeal Court has dismissed an appeal filed by Senator George Sekibo challenging the judgment of the Rivers State National Election Tribunal which removed him as Senator representing Rivers East Senatorial District. The Appellate Court held that the appeal lacked merit as it did not show facts as to why the decision of the lower court should be set aside. The three-man panel of the Appeal Court held that the ousted lawmaker only reproduced his closing remarks at the end of the hearing at the tribunal, but did not challenge the decision reached by the tribunal. The panel also held that according to the law, where an issue is not challenged the court has no business considering it. Label: senator, court of appea Back to top
